Marcus W. Reinkensmeyer is an aspiring Arizona based landscape photographer, especially drawn to less traveled parks and remote wilderness areas. His travels encompass remote mountain ranges, silent slot canyons, lush coastal regions, hidden waterfalls, meandering rivers and urban landscapes. His growing body of images and writings celebrate the transient quality of light, the intricate patterns of nature and the joy of time spent in quiet exploration.
Photography credits include publications in Backpacker, Country, Shutterbug, Nature Photographer, Photographer’s Edge, Arizona Republic, Arizona: The Grand Canyon State, Visit Phoenix: 2015 Official Travel Guide to Greater Phoenix and Ground of Being album cover; display at Sky Harbor Airport and office buildings; and Arizona Scenic, American Bible Society and Capture My Arizona calendars.
Marcus’ photography and writings can also be found in two collaborations with other Arizona photographers, Windswept Landscape: Images from the Arizona-Utah Border and From Rock to Sand: Death Valley Landscapes, and Landscape Portfolio: Photography Rediscovered.
